Tour description

My tour is
a nice and interesting cultural walk in Amsterdam, I tell you about the walk and how we will discover the city.
With the sharp eye of
Architect and traveling for years, I decided to build a personalized and high quality tour , that would deliver a complete and entertaining vision of Amsterdam. The tour is based on: architecture, history, art, commerce, local traditions, culture, Dutch society, from the 13th century to the 21st century that covers all the cultural expectations of a traveler , due to the infinite number of topics that we touch on along the way, where I also attach photos and plates that will enrich the story and the historical place that we see and will be even more entertaining.
All in a friendly walk, very cultural, relaxed, with humor and if we feel like it we stop for a delicious coffee and continue the tour, the idea is to have a great time like when we go out with friends.

STARTING POINT OF THE WALK : Het National Monument which is a white column, located in Dam Square . I carry a white umbrella with black letters that says SPANISH , nothing more, without colors or flags. Through WhatsApp I will send you my photo, map and photo of the starting point. See you!

Dam Square : Foundation of Amsterdam

Royal Palace of Amsterdam: Power in the golden age.

Courts of law (rechtbanken) beheadings -17th century

Slavery : Traces of enslaved Africa in Amsterdam. Awesome !

Het National Monument : Tribute to victims of the Holocaust.

Sint Antoniesluis : Beautiful dam and viewpoint with a lot of history.

2 WORLD WAR : place of detention of deportees, houses of Jews sent to concentration camps, the tragedy of the war in Holland. Hunger and death between 1940-1945 in Amsterdam.

De Waag: Building with turrets (entrance gate to the city). 14th century

Waterlooplein: Traditional market of the Jewish Quarter, the raid and persecution during the war.

Painters' Union : (14th century) - Here we find the famous baroque painter Rembrandt and his work.

Jewish Quarter : From glory to death in World War II.

Red Light District : unique in the world, beautiful, tolerant, worldly and powerful.

Chinatown : exotic, culinary, but with a terrifying life story!

Houses - boats or floating homes . An unusual way of life

VOCs . Dutch East Indies Company. 17th century

There are points on the route that are NOT published, as they are part of my investigative work, they give exclusivity to my work and privilege my tourists. They will be surprised!

End tour : on the Amstel River : in a fantastic and unforgettable panoramic view.

• For various reasons it may happen that you have to replace one place with another.

1- * Reservations:
A max. of 4 people per reservation, fractional reservations of the same group are not accepted, reservations of 5 participants or more must pay a suggested contribution of €13.00 pp.

* The Municipality of Amsterdam charges a tourist tax rate of €2 pp, which is paid before starting the tour and has no relation to the value of the event itself.

2 - WAITING MARGIN : it is 5-7 extra minutes for latecomers. The person who does not notify, or does not arrive after the extra minutes, allows me to hand over the position to other tourists.

3 - ACCIDENTS: Each participant is responsible for their own physical integrity on the streets during the ride, as well as for any accident, fall or unforeseen event that affects their health. Therefore, it is suggested to have their health insurance policies up to date .

1 - Do not hire or sign up for another activity for at least one hour after the end of the tour to replenish energy and to have time to arrive at the other activity in a relaxed manner and without schedules clashing.

2- Check the weather forecast, wear clothing suitable for cold or heat, sun protection, and an umbrella or raincoat, if the weather warrants it.

Mala forma de exigir un pago mínimos de 12 euros por persona más 2 de impuestos cuando no fuimos al barrio rojo. Una pena excelente guía pero malas formas. No nos pasó en ningún tour del mundo
