Join me for an adventure exploring Galway City! Get ready to uncover the hidden treasures of the City of the Tribes in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. This tour will be conducted in English.
Before you book this Tour, please take a moment to read the important information
Punctuality and Waiting Time: As a courtesy to everyone, we allow a waiting time of 5 minutes past the hour for all participants to gather. We would greatly appreciate it if you could arrive 5 to 10 minutes early, so we can start the tour promptly and provide a seamless experience for all.
Tour Itinerary :
General Tour of Galway City that lasts approximately 1hr 30. We'll kick off our journey at the famous Eyre Square, where you'll learn about its intriguing history, from Medieval times to the present-day as a popular spot. Then, we'll meander through the enchanting sites and sounds of the city

- Galway City Museum: Free and uncover more history (closed on Sunday Tours)
Group Size: The tour can accommodate a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 7-10 people. To ensure a smooth experience, kindly refrain from showing up with a larger group.
Language and Introduction: The tour will be conducted in English and serves as an introduction to the captivating history of Galway City, from its past to the present. However, please note that the tour will not take place if heavy rainfall or a storm occurs. Keep an eye on the weather forecast, and always have a backup plan.
Availability and Contact: From winter through summer in 2023, walking tours will only run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 11 am and 2 pm. If you're interested in booking a tour on other days, please contact me at hiddentoursgalway@gmail.com, and I'll do my best to accommodate your request.

Inside St Nicholas Church: If you'd like to explore the inside of St. Nicholas Church, there is a door charge of €5. Seniors and students can avail of a concession price of €4.00

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
