Hello. This is Destinopolis, a group of friends who love meeting new people, telling new stories and showing their city. We can talk about community tourism, history, art, graffiti and community transformation.
This tour takes place around the neighborhoods La Colina and independences 1 and 2 where we will find a whole path of graffiti and murals that tell us about a story of transformation through hip hop culture during dark times and of great violence was the way many young people of the Comuna could resist and find an alternative, generating leadership and social change.
The tour in Comuna 13 is done with guides who are also artists and actively participate in the cultural, artistic, and social processes of the community, throughout the tour you can enjoy a graffiti experience, the most famous mango cream of Medellin, the viewpoint, the murals, graffiti and the human warmth of this resilient community.
The meeting point is at San Javier Station in the main exit.
