Tour description

Welcome to Rishikesh!

This will be the itinerary:

Afternoon:

  • Start at Balaknath Mandir Road in Topovan at 2:00 PM.
  • Arrive at Upper Topovan by 2:30 PM.
  • Begin the hike to the secret waterfall. The hike duration can vary depending on the specific waterfall you choose, but aim to start heading back by 4:00 PM to allow enough time to return to Rishikesh.

Late Afternoon:

  • Leave the waterfall site by 4:00 PM and start making your way back to Rishikesh.
  • It will take around 30 minutes to return from Upper Topovan to Balaknath Mandir Road.
  • Once you reach Rishikesh, head to Ram Jhula, where the Ganga Aarti takes place. The distance between Balaknath Mandir Road and Ram Jhula is approximately 2.5 kilometers.

Evening:

  • Arrive at Ram Jhula by around 5:30 PM to secure a good spot for the Ganga Aarti ceremony at 6:30 PM.
  • Find a comfortable place along the riverbank to witness the Aarti.
  • Enjoy the beautiful ceremony as the priests perform their rituals and offer prayers.

After the Aarti:

  • After the Ganga Aarti concludes, you can explore the area around Ram Jhula, visit nearby temples, or have dinner at one of the restaurants in the vicinity.
  • Ensure you have transportation arranged to get back to your accommodation or desired location after the Aarti.

Please note that the timings mentioned here are approximate, and it's always a good idea to check the current schedules for the waterfall hike and Ganga Aarti before your visit. Additionally, make sure to carry essentials like water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear for the waterfall hike.
Enjoy your day in Rishikesh!
