During our journey, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Hill beneath which the origin of Cambridge lies, and the original location of the "Bridge over the Cam" (Cambridge) from the time when Roman legions were stationed here. We'll see one of the United Kingdom's four oldest surviving round churches and stroll by the iconic gates of St. John's College and Trinity College (the rivals, the wealthy, the prestigious). If possible, we'll even step into the beautiful Trinity College paddocks.
As we continue, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking King's College Chapel on the famous corner of the Backs, and I'll share the intriguing stories of its connection to the Wars of the Roses. We'll discuss the legendary Mathematical Bridge and how it became a symbol of Cambridge. You'll also learn about Cambridge's role in shaping the American colonies, with fascinating insights into a pub and laboratory that left a mark on our modern world. We'll understand what colleges are and explore why these unique institutions exist. Additionally, you'll witness the contrast between the oldest and most recent landmarks in Cambridge: a tower and a clock.
This 90/100-minute journey promises not only knowledge but an enjoyable experience. Be prepared for a bit of rain and some puddles, as we explore this extraordinary city together. Please note that access to structures is not guaranteed, and I recommend using the restroom facilities before the tour begins.

The tour starts on the top of Castle Mound (Castle St, Cambridge CB3 0RG, United Kingdom - please google the exact location), where we will have a beautiful overview of the city. I have a backpack with either an orange or green waterproof cover, and I wear a safari hat. Be advised that the map displayed on the icon may not be updated. Please access Google Maps, to accurately determine the correct location.
When possible, we will access Trinity College paddocks

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
