Hello! I'm Fabien, I was born and raised in Paris and I don't think I will ever get tired of that beautiful city. I studied graphic arts and art history and trained as a professional cartoonist. I travel a lot and I'm happy to meet new people who are as curious as I am! My free time is practicing my instruments (guitar and piano) and theater and cinema occupy all my weekends.
How was Paris born, and how did it find itself on the verge of agony and had to reinvent itself to survive?
In 2000 years of history, Our city of lights, born in ancient times, has seen its face transformed and today preserves the stigma of these great eras in its stone monuments.
And this stone speaks to us!
It tells us an incredible story where women and men saw their city grow and transform into an open-air theater where their most terrible tragedies and their most beautiful victories will be represented.
What are they going to talk to me about?
From Notre Dame to the Opera Garnier passing through the Louvre Palace, we will talk about the cultural development of the Middle Ages that made Paris, since then, the most attractive city in the Western world.
Then we will see how certain monarchs such as Philip Augustus, Catherine de Medicis or even Napoleon the First, have gone through the times, each of them leaving their mark on a spectacular Palace that will become the most visited museum in the world.
Will we finally see how other Kings such as the Sun King Louis XIV and Emperor Napoleon III will participate in the transformation of a Paris in agony for the good of their people or for their personal glory...?
