Every good story has a good beginning and there is no better place than Obradoiro Square to explain the origin of the city through its imposing buildings: Cathedral, Pazo de Raxoi, Colexio de San Xerome and Hostal de los Reyes Católicos.
We will cross the arch where the bagpiper usually plays to enjoy the immense monastery of San Martín Pinario, as well as the north façade of the Cathedral. From there we will go to Plaza de la Quintana, Cervantes, Mercado de Abastos, Faculty of Geography and History, Praza Mazarelos and Santa María Salomé, to finish the visit in Alameda Park.
The park is a must-see to be able to address the tragic history of Las Marías and explain the reason for the explosion of the city in the 90s, closing the tour at a viewpoint with one of the most beautiful views of the old city.
