My guide made the tour interesting and informative. My only difficulty was finding my way back to a location that I recognized. Luckily I had picked up a paper map from my hotel and knew to head back to the courtyard of the cathedral which was where we started. I enjoyed all the quirky interesting pieces of information that he gave to us as well as taking us to an excellent viewing spot of the cathedral. I attended the tour with Ana, and was very pleased with the entire experience. I think your free tours are an excellent opportunity for all foreigners to get a general introduction and overview of the location ( in my case, Santiago de Compostela). You tour is the best thing any first time visitor should do! It was great and very informative. I enjoyed every minute! Ana was an added bonus. Not only did she speak English very well, but she was well knowledged and informed about the history, area, and people, and she made it fun, interesting, and interactive! It was better than any paid tour I have booked in other places. It is a great thing to offer visitors, and I will highly recommend it to all my friends and anyone traveling. Keep doing it!

Booked the tour 30 minutes before it was due to start. Having completed our Camino the previous morning and visited the cathedral in the afternoon, it was wonderful to have Ticiano as our guide. Was both professional and friendly showing an interest in each of our group members, remembering our countries of origin and Camino routes. The information given was clear honest and fascinating. This tour was very comprehensive surrounding all the plazas, buildings and streets around the Cathedral. Phenomenal tour. It is free but it was definitely worth as much as the guided tour as a lower cost. It was a delight to walk around with our red umbrella guide.
