Greetings! My name is Shohsanam, and I am a tour guide and member of guide team in Uzbekistan. Our main goal is to show Uzbekistan in all its glory. I will be glad to take you through the ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, where you can see the majestic architectural monuments, feel the history and feel the spirit of ancient times.
A tour to Samarkand is a unique journey that allows you to plunge into the magical world of the East. The city of Samarkand is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia and is a real treasure of history and culture.
First, we will visit the Gur-Emir mausoleum. One of the main attractions of Samarkand is the Gur-Emir Mausoleum. This is the grave of Timur, the great conqueror and ruler who left his mark on history. The mausoleum impresses with its architecture and luxurious interior, and is also the burial place of many members of the Timur dynasty.
Then you can walk or drive to Registan Square. Registan is the central square of Samarkand, which is one of the most beautiful squares in the East. There are three madrasahs located here - Ulugbek, Sherdora and Tillya-Kari, which impress with their architecture and patterns on the facades.
After that, we will start the tour at the Bibi Khanum Mosque. The Bibi Khanum Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the East, built in the XV century. The mosque impresses with its grandiose size and unique architecture.
On the way to the Shahi Zinda Mausoleum, you can visit Siab Bazaar. Siyab Bazaar is one of the most popular markets in Samarkand, where you can buy souvenirs, textiles, jewelry and other goods.
Then we will head to Shahi Zinda, a necropolis consisting of many mausoleums and mosques. Members of the Temurid dynasty and other dignitaries are buried here.
I'll be at the mausoleum sign
