We enjoyed our tour with Frederik. We have taken Guru tours in other cities so we had high expectations and we weren’t disappointed. As we had already walked around the main sights of Bologna’s central district by ourselves we particularly enjoyed learning about the less obvious aspects of the city and seeing what lies inside some of the historic buildings. A restaurant and a wine bar recommendation were followed up and both were excellent - indeed Frederik helped us greatly by booking a table for us at one restaurant as it was a Saturday and likely to be full otherwise. It was a lovely tour filled with a lot of interesting details about the city, its architecture, history and culinary gems. Just the group size with around 25 people was a little too big for my taste.
