Hello, my name is Milena, I am from Manizales, Colombia and I have been living in Medellin for 7 years. I have been teaching Spanish to travelers for 5 years and also take them to small trips around the city to share my experience and favorite places with them.

For me, Medellin has been the place where I started to dream again, the energy of this city and its people have been my inspiration. There is always something interesting to do and wonderful people to spend time with.

If you are looking for someone to help you answer questions about the local culture and food, places, traditions, changes, improvements, ways or ideas to help/volunteer but also get to know the current problems and limitations I am the right person!

I also can take you to cultural events (concerts, theater, dance presentations) where you can enjoy our cultural expressions and also get to know authentic places with great energy.

I love to visit new places, I have been traveling in Colombia and also other countries and love to exchange ideas with people from anywhere in the world. I am happy to listen, learn and discuss different perspectives.

I am an honest and respectful person. I love to spend time with families and couples, any age and nationality are welcome.

If you are interested to visit any specific place or enjoy the current cultural events in the city I will be very glad to go there with you and your loved ones. Read below the options and send me a message to confirm, depending on the place and the events you decide to visit we will need to adjust the schedule. I take only small groups, families or couples.

The places we can visit during the day are:

- Comuna 13.

- Cerro Picacho. (Great view, be ready to walk up to the mountain!)

- Cerro Nutibara (Pueblito paisa)

- Cerro el Volador (Great view, be ready to walk up to the mountain!)

Events at night:

- Jazz nights in downtown. (2 times per month)

- Tango nights in downtown. (2 times per month)

- Theater in downtown. (Tuesday - Friday, in Spanish, no subtitles ;) )
