Absolutely fantastic, one of the best experiences.

Dave was very well informed polite and friendly. We could ask him relevant questions and he answered them all to the best of his ability. The tour is good for getting your steps in and for finding out about the local public houses and where good places to go and visit whilst in Belfast. Easy to book a tour and well worth the small donation at the end which is personal choice.

Michael was an excellent guide. He gave a very balanced, fair view of the positions of the two sides. He was also very respectful of the two communities while we were in their areas, making sure not to turn it into a circus. He answered all questions and gave us lots of time. He is an asset to Guru and I would highly recommend him to others.

Lorenzo was really good, great insight about the history and so nice in giving us tips on movies to watch

Michael was a terrific guide, very personable, full of information. He gave a good overview of Belfast, covering the history, buildings, notable personalities, as well as a few fun wee stories. Great introduction for a first timer to Belfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. And even though I’m originally from Belfast I still learned a lot of new information. Highly recommend.

Tour davvero interessante e fuori dal comune. Non si tratta del classico tour “generalista” alla scoperta dei principali monumenti della città, ma di un percorso storico, politico e culturale molto più approfondito. Lorenzo è estremamente preparato e appassionato, e riesce a trattare un tema complesso, attuale e non sempre facile con grande competenza. Il tour è ricco di spunti di riflessione e di analogie con eventi recenti, offrendo una prospettiva critica che collega passato e presente. Va però considerato che si tratta di circa tre ore dedicate a tematiche impegnative, tra cui conflitti sociali e violenza. Non è quindi un’esperienza adatta a chi cerca un’attività leggera o puramente di intrattenimento, come spesso accade su questa piattaforma. Consiglio quindi di partecipare con le giuste aspettative: per chi è interessato a questo tipo di approfondimento, il tour saprà sicuramente soddisfare.

A brilliant walking tour with Barbara. Very informative and interesting - good to have someone with real lived experience of growing up and living in Belfast during difficult and dangerous times but Barbara provided a balanced tour and shared lots of information about Belfast’s earlier history and Belfast today.

Outstanding tour! Our guide Barbara was born and bred in Belfast and supplemented the history of the city with valuable personal anecdotes that really helped us understand the city and its people. Cannot recommend her enough! She gave great recommendations of things to do and made us want to extend our stay. Best walking tour ever!!
