Free walking tours in Bengaluru

Thoroughly recommended. As well as being knowledgeable, curious and charming, Darpan has trained as a teacher and this has supported his natural tour-guiding gifts! He was really clear and engaging, and when he wanted to explain something in detail he did so when we were gathered at a place that would aid his explanation, or he would pull out his laptop and show us a map, photo, document etc. He took us to a S Indian fast food restaurant and bought us all a lovely snack and coffee. He involved everyone equally and at the end, sent us his highlights of Bangalore, recommended a beer place and waited till we were safely in our Uber. A great afternoon looking around the Bangalore experienced by its own residents.

It was a pleasure to meet Shreya. I really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it. Was nice to see her perspective of Bengaluru. In the second part of the tour we want together for dinner in a typical local restaurant. Thank you for the recommendations afterwards

Mahesh gave us a fantastic tour - his knowledge of Bangalore and India runs deep, and he covered everything from history to local customs to hidden gems most visitors would never find. He gave us the confidence to venture out and explore the city on our own afterward, which can feel overwhelming at first for Western travelers. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the walking tour with Shreya. I saw and learned things that I would never have by just going to the "default" sight-seeing places. Very interesting - sadly we arrived a little late at the tempel as our final stop, so we could not explore everything. And the food/snack at the end was well earned and appreciated after the walking :-)

We (Dutch-American family of three including a ten-year-old) had a wonderful afternoon. Darpan took his time to show us around at our own pace, answered all our questions, and was in all aspects a great host. Whether about history, religion or current politics: he is totally on top of things. Already after half an hour it felt like a friend was showing us around. We would recommend Darpan wholeheartedly!

Our group was so lucky to have two great tour guides! Both of them were absolutely wonderful, we had really nice talks and they had so much knowledge, information and reccommandations for Bangalore -also for many other places in India too! The organisation was perfect- I really reccomand the tour. Thanks so much again!

Really nice tour with Darpan in Bangalore. He was friendly, easy to follow, and shared interesting stories about the city. The route was well planned and showed places I wouldn’t have found on my own. Definitely a good way to get to know Bangalore.

Darpan was an unbelievable tour guide! Not only regarding Bangalore’s history, politics and religion; he is extremely knowledgeable with regard to answering questions and very kind asking about us as well. This was one of our highlights of Bangalore! We’ve taken many free walking tours in different countries over the years and this was one of the best. Thank you.
