Night Tour Cairo

Wonderful tour that made us feel like we were among local friends on a night out through the center of (old) Cairo talking, mingling, and enjoying the fact that we were in good company and hands.

Mahmoud was a wonderful guide. He is so knowledgeable, great personality and easy to talk with. We had an enjoyable time and would highly recommend!

It was a wonderful tour with Mahmoud. He created a friendly, open-minded, and easygoing atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable. He answered all questions patiently and shared a lot of interesting knowledge about Egypt in a very kind and thoughtful way. And the dinner — oh yes, Koshary! I absolutely loved this food. After that, walking through the market and the lively streets was such a great experience. It was wonderful to have Mahmoud by our side while exploring. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated the chance to connect with other people. At the same time, it was nice to sometimes just feel free, not think too much, and simply follow someone who knows the city well. I would definitely recommend this experience Shukran 🙏🏽

Mahmoud is really friendly and a natural tour guide! Felucca ride is relaxing and a different way to see the city! Good food, insightful information and would thoroughly recommend going to El Moez and Khan Al Khalili at night as it is far more lively! Above our expectations!

Die Tour mit Mahmoud war toll. Er hat uns jederzeit gut informiert, Fragen beantwortet, alle Teilnehmer einbezogen, war freundlich und hilfsbereit, hatte stets alles im Blick und wirkte sehr professionell. Besonders hat uns die entspannte Segeltour auf dem Nil gefallen. Als wegen Ramadan das Restaurant, das wir eigentlich besuchen wollten, geschlossen waren, hat Mahmoud total gut improvisiert und eine gute Alternative gefunden. Auch der Abschluss auf dem Markt und in der Al Muizz Straße war super. Allein wären wir da wohl verloren gewesen ;-) Ich empfehle die Tour unbedingt!

Mahmud was willing to answer every question we had. The transportation was done with his own vehicles. He did everything he mentioned in the program and more. The trip on the Nile was enjoyable, we ate at perhaps the best restaurant in Cairo, Kosari, the traditional food.

Our experience with Mahmoud was outstanding! We have been on many Guruwalks around the world and he was by far the best tour Guru we have had. He went out of his way to show us the highlights of Cairo at night, even making sure to contact us afterwards to make sure we got back to our hotel, since we couldn't get an Uber because of the time of night and he negotiated a cab and kept in contact with us on our way back. Additionally, my husband and I were the only ones with him and it was amazing to have a private tour for over 4 hours. He was truly a fantastic guide and it was a wonderful experience!

This was AMAZING tour! From the beautiful boat ride, to the wonderful meal, to experiencing local life in the khan el killi market, we are so grateful we found this tour so we can experience real life as Egyptians. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it.

I almost missed this tour because I couldn't find the meeting point but luckily found wifi and connected with tour guide via the app. The tour was great! The sailboat on the nile at night was beautiful. The local food we had was amazing! Walking around the bazaar was a perfect way to end the night!

This was by far the best Guru Walk we've ever done (and we've done a few!) The Nile felouka cruise at the start was fabulous, just perfect to be out sailing under the stars, watching the hustle and bustle on the river banks from the calm and serene of our sailing boat. We were treated to a spectacular light and water show by the fountain in the middle and the lit-up skyline of Cairo was stunning. We then moved on to a delicious koshary meal in a bustling restaurant, and after that enjoyed a walk around the Moet St bazaar and the history of the mosques. A thoroughly entertaining evening - thank you Mahmoud!

Mahmoud is an amazing and knowledgeable guide. Provided really detailed elaboration on the places visited. Our tour group was apparently the biggest he’s had (19 people) and due to that we got upgraded to a bigger boat for the felucca ride! Overall, highly recommended as a guide!

We had a wonderful experience with Mahmoud during the Cairo tour along the Nile! He is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what he does. Mahmoud shared fascinating stories about the city’s history and culture, and he made the whole experience both fun and informative. The highlight was definitely the Nile boat ride it was peaceful and beautiful, with amazing views of Cairo from the water. The food we tried during the tour was delicious and carefully chosen to give us a real taste of Egyptian cuisine. Mahmoud made sure we felt comfortable and enjoyed every moment. I truly recommend him to anyone visiting Cairo who wants to experience the city in a genuine and memorable way!
