Night Tour Cairo

The tour with Mahmoud was wonderful. He was extremely friendly and attentive, showed us incredible places, and was very generous with his explanations and demonstrations. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a positive experience in Cairo.

Mahmud was willing to answer every question we had. The transportation was done with his own vehicles. He did everything he mentioned in the program and more. The trip on the Nile was enjoyable, we ate at perhaps the best restaurant in Cairo, Kosari, the traditional food.

Our experience with Mahmoud was outstanding! We have been on many Guruwalks around the world and he was by far the best tour Guru we have had. He went out of his way to show us the highlights of Cairo at night, even making sure to contact us afterwards to make sure we got back to our hotel, since we couldn't get an Uber because of the time of night and he negotiated a cab and kept in contact with us on our way back. Additionally, my husband and I were the only ones with him and it was amazing to have a private tour for over 4 hours. He was truly a fantastic guide and it was a wonderful experience!

This was AMAZING tour! From the beautiful boat ride, to the wonderful meal, to experiencing local life in the khan el killi market, we are so grateful we found this tour so we can experience real life as Egyptians. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it.

I almost missed this tour because I couldn't find the meeting point but luckily found wifi and connected with tour guide via the app. The tour was great! The sailboat on the nile at night was beautiful. The local food we had was amazing! Walking around the bazaar was a perfect way to end the night!

This was by far the best Guru Walk we've ever done (and we've done a few!) The Nile felouka cruise at the start was fabulous, just perfect to be out sailing under the stars, watching the hustle and bustle on the river banks from the calm and serene of our sailing boat. We were treated to a spectacular light and water show by the fountain in the middle and the lit-up skyline of Cairo was stunning. We then moved on to a delicious koshary meal in a bustling restaurant, and after that enjoyed a walk around the Moet St bazaar and the history of the mosques. A thoroughly entertaining evening - thank you Mahmoud!

Mahmoud is an amazing and knowledgeable guide. Provided really detailed elaboration on the places visited. Our tour group was apparently the biggest he’s had (19 people) and due to that we got upgraded to a bigger boat for the felucca ride! Overall, highly recommended as a guide!

Mahmoud shared fascinating stories about the city’s history and culture, and he made the whole experience both fun and informative. The highlight was definitely the Nile boat ride it was peaceful and beautiful, with amazing views of Cairo from the water. The food we tried during the tour was delicious and carefully chosen to give us a real taste of Egyptian cuisine. Mahmoud made sure we felt comfortable and enjoyed every moment. Really enjoyed our evening. We got to choose between a sail or motor boat. We had koshary in the original restaurant which was fun. We walked around the market. We arrived early and our guide was already there. He also helped us organise a taxi back.

I booked the Cairo night tour with Mahmoud, and since the other guests canceled, it turned into a private tour. We explored the city on his scooter, which was amazing and gave a real view of Cairo’s energy at night. The Nile boat ride was beautiful. Calm water, bright city lights, and a great view of the riverbanks. Mahmoud also took me to try authentic Egyptian food that was absolutely delicious and made sure I got the real local experience. We ended the night in Khan el Khalili, where he helped me bargain like a pro and get fai prices. Overall, Mahmoud made the evening unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Mahmoud is amazing!! We got to watch the lunar eclipse from the boat in the Nile, something truly magical. We got to live the proper Egyptian experience, eating the typical food, walking the old city streets and the bazar at night. Mahmoud was caring, looking after us all the time, he even took me to a pharmacy to get a sore throat tablets. It was a private tour and he was very acknowledgeable, the luxury of having a guide from Cairo! Thanks so much for being a genuine, patience and kind person during the all duration of the tour :)

Me and my girlfriend did a tour with these guys back in March and it was awesome! Everyone else cancelled or didn’t show up so they did a tour just for us. We had an awesome felucca ride in the Nile, tried out skme great local dishes and had s nice talk and some history behind the different places. Highly recommend if you’re interested in a unique tour offered by true locals.

First the pleasant and relaxing Felucca ride on the Nile then a tasty, healthy and digestible typical Egyptian dinner accompanied by a pleasant and fun conversation! Then we ending with the view of the bazaar and the surrounding streets full of color, joy, history and beauty.
