Tour description

“Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble. Fillet of a fenny snake, in the caldron boils and bake…” William Shakespeare.

For thousands of years, witches of all forms and varieties have walked the isles of Britain and been the topic of folklore and history. On this free walking tour, we discover more about witches and in particular the witches of London. With the stories of bizarre practices and occurrences, anecdotes, and a look at the unjust treatment of people thought to be witches by both witches and people who adored them or feared them, this two-hour-long historic guided tour is replete with a fascinating side of London’s history that is hardly ever mentioned.
Come and see London through different eyes with Wonders of London.
