Free walking tours in Ghent

Informative tour, and the guide gave good recommendations for the city. We went to a few places I would not have gone by myself but then we also didn’t go near places I would have expected to, like the main churches/cathedral etc.

Excellent Barbara was so enthusiastic about her subject and answered all our questions A brilliant experience and a great way to see Ghent (she also gave us brief histories of the famous landmarks too since we had not visited Ghent before) Highly recommend. We will be using GuruWalks again in the future

Kenny is a great enthusiastic guy! It makes the tour extra fun! He points out some great picture spots and gives great tips for the city. It is a fun tour to do instead of the mainstream history tour!

We had such a great time exploring Ghent with Eva as my guide! She was super friendly, easy to talk to, and really knew how to make the city’s history interesting without ever feeling boring. The whole tour felt relaxed and fun, and Eva had plenty of tips for places to eat and things to do afterwards too. Honestly, it felt like walking around the city with a friend who just happens to know everything about it. Highly recommend her if you want to enjoy Ghent to the fullest!

Hi, this is not my first Guru tour, our guide was very knowledgeable but the problem is the group size, we were more than 35 people, for me that’s too much, especially the guide did not have a microphone as her voice was not that loud, she did the best she could. Some suggestions, reduce the number of guest or maybe add a microphone. My overall appreciation of our guide is good, she knew and city and tools took us to most important sites, it was great. Thank you

It’s a good tour for legends of the city, which is interesting, but if you want more actual historical info, take a different tour that focuses on that.

Lovely guy, great tour!

This was a fun way of seeing Ghent, all of my group enjoyed it. We were surprised at the amounts of food we were tasting especially the fries. We would recommend this, especially if you're not a history buff and would prefer fun facts. Sophia had an abundance of facts and useful info on breweries, which the two men in our group were very happy about.

Kseniia was a spectacular guide. Funny and engaging, she brought the dark side to life for me. I usually like to get to bed early but these evening tours are changing my mind. The lower temps and the incredible photo ops really are the best
