I have a degree in Tourism and I am also a certified Tour Guide, licensed by the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism. I worked in the hospitality industry for almost a decade before deciding to pursue my dream of working with community-based tourism. Today, I run my own tourism agency, whose mission is to break stereotypes, connect people, and showcase a side of Rio de Janeiro that goes beyond the traditional tourist attractions. We aim to highlight local culture, community initiatives, everyday challenges, and, above all, value the history, territories, and people who make them unique.
