Hello! I am Emanuele and I was born and live in Naples, I am deeply in love with the whole gulf of which I consider myself a child, I love to get in touch with the contrasting and fragmented realities that characterize the Neapolitan area and in particular my beloved city, just as I love very much travel and discover cultures and customs different from mine.
I have been working in tourism and public relations for 10 years, and I have always felt the need to deviate from the way of doing mass tourism, preferring a vision more oriented towards "travelers" rather than "tourists", putting in contact the people with the different colors of local realities and listen to the thousand voices and the thousand stories they tell.
I am not a formal guide but rather I consider myself a cultural mediator between the traveler and the world I know, in order to help him feel part of the reality that surrounds him so that he can touch it with his hand, and experience it, rather than looking at it from the outside as in a shop window. I also believe that this is the best way to make everyone's experience more informal, spontaneous and genuine.
So what are you waiting for? Are you coming for a friendly walk with me?
It was a pleasure having this tour with Emanuele. Be prepared for a full recap of the history of Napoli plus details on the current socio economic state. So much information, I really enjoyed it to learn a lot. Got a surprise coffee in-between and visited an old handcraft man's shop. Totally recommend!
Wow! This was a great Napolitain experience - I got more from it than I expected Thank you
Wonderful. Beyond expectations . History and human interaction delivered in a dynamic style. 3 hours felt like minutes. Go. Learn. Enjoy.
A personal presentation of Naples' history, culture, people while touring the back streets. Not a conventional tour of tourist high spots but much more interesting if you want to get the feel of the city and it's culture. Liverpudlian charm + serious analysis of sustainable tourism and city regeneration + a ton of info and humour. Chatting to lots of locals who clearly knew and appreciated him, Emmanuelle kept an eye to ensure none of us strayed in the path of passing motirini or reversing vans. The tour was recommended to us and we will do the same. A great experience that has left us with a warmth and appreciation for a great city.
