I'm Stas, a Ukrainian living in Estonia for 7 years - 2025 is actually the anniversary! I'm in platonic love with Estonia and Tartu. My tour is a mix of stories of the region, city, and my life! I prefer small groups to build connections and toss jokes all the time, so we have a good time.
Stans was everything a GuruWalk guide should be: engaging, humorous, and knowledgeable. A Ukrainian who has lived in Estonia for about seven years, he provided information with the depth of knowledge of a local, but with an analytic viewpoint of an observer looking in. As he knew we had been given a dose of Estonian history during a Tallinn GuruWalk he focused mostly on the city: its reason, history, architecture, and local characters. He covered a wide array of topics during the walk, all of which were informative and interesting, and his ability to answer impromptu questions was excellent. Highly recommended.
Stan was a great guide. Due to cancellations, I was the only participant. The tour was informative & fun. It didn’t feel awkward that I was the only person & he had an easy conversation style that made the tour time feel like it went quick. Would recommend Stan as a guide.
