Hello! My name is Agata, I am a licensed guide. I am a proud native of Catania and here I was born and raised. For me a city is a person: it breathes, changes, suffers and rejoices. And you miss it.
In 2017, after several experiences abroad, I came back home with a little dream.
I had joined many free walking tours in the world and that inspired me to bring the first free tour reality also in my city, so to give to anyone who wishes, the experience to make contact with Catania.
Since then, more and more travellers joined our tours and helped us, with their feedbacks, to improve and make our offer so special, a journey in the journey.
What we think makes us different is the connection that we create with you and the desire to inform but also to feel the emotion together as we unveil the history of a City, that, unexpectedly, you may perceived a little yours too. Try and understand.
You will have fun discovering with us the most representative artistic sites of the city, its legends, traditions and folkloristic neighborhoods. With our guided tours you will get a first-hand contact with the soul of Catania through a Catanese and bring back home an authentic and long-lasting memory of the “black and white city”.
Our free walking tours are usually performed in English. Booking is required and the tour will be confirmed if we reach a minimum number of participants.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Agata has so much knowledge and tells the stories with so much fun.
Such a great way to get introduced to Catania Agata is a fantastic and entertaining story teller and does a great job inviting you to understand and appreciate this city and its contrasts. We so enjoyed the stories, the myths, the hidden gems and learning the long and complex history of this vibrant and resilient city. Warm recommendation to anyone visiting and wanting to learn and feel closer to Catania.
