Hello, my name is Yong! I was born and raised in Seoul, and I love meeting new people from different cultures and exploring new places. I’ve traveled to more than 23 countries and studied abroad for three years.
I prefer to travel as a free independent traveler (FIT) because I want to experience not just the typical tourist attractions but also the authentic local culture. I usually walk a lot to discover hidden local spots and talk with locals to better understand their way of life.

Yongyu is a knowledgeable guide from Yongsan area. He shared about the history of the area & how it’s developed to what it’s today. Went by the agency that runs BTS and through some of the alleyways in the hood. It’s an easy 2-hour tour with a local.
Great tour and funny as well! It didn’t get boring at no place. The time passed so fast that I was little sad it had already been ended. :)
