Let's Hue - Local Friends started with a small group of university and graduate students. The team comes from diverse backgrounds, but they all have the following in common: a deep love for the city of Hue, a spirit of volunteerism, and proficiency in English. The tour by our guide Julie was very informative and relaxed at the same time. She knew a lot about the history of the place and on the subjects she was unsure of or the questions we had, she just looked them up and texted them later to us. Very professional and kind.
We had a wonderful tour of the Imperial City in Huế with Vivian. It was truly a great experience. She shared so much interesting information about the emperors who lived there and the history of the Nguyễn dynasty, and she explained everything in a very engaging way. Vivian speaks excellent English and is very easy to understand. She answered all of our questions clearly and made the history come alive! We learned a lot and really enjoyed the tour. I would highly recommend Vivian to anyone visiting the Imperial City!
Tolle Tour, nur zu empfehlen. Das Tempo und die Tiefe der Infos waren genau richtig. Unsere local Guide konnte wirklich viel über die Geschichte von Hue und Vietnam erzählen und jede Frage beantworten. Wir haben im Anschluss noch landestypische Snacks probiert, die ich sonst nie bestellt hätte. Sogar auf meinen Wunsch hin rein vegetarisch.
Vivian is a nice and kind guide. The visit to the citadel was interesting, even if we actually expected a little more historical information. This is not due to her lack of preparation, but probably to the language barrier🙂.
