We had a fantastic morning with Abdelali. It was the perfect way to learn about Fes and navigating the winding alleys on our first day. Never felt harassed or pressured into buying anything as the tour was focused on history rather than shopping (which we wanted!). Would recommend to anyone visiting Fes.
We had a lovely tour, and though it was a Friday (many shops are closed on Fridays in Medina) we experienced a rare look into Medina and covered all the important points, starting from a panoramic view of the fortified city and ending at the henna souk which was originally a musical therapy centre. When we reached early Abdul offered us to wait inside his Funky Fes hostel which was a beauty in itself. And throughout the tour Abdul regaled us with so many tales, there was never a dull moment. (You HAVE to ask him how he met his wife). Thank you Abdul and Funky tours for allowing us to explore Medina of Fes so well and understanding so much of Moroccan history. (We'd say that of all the tours we saw on the way, though our group was small it was the most lively :)
