The Walking tour that Diego did for us was full of surprises! A beautiful walk and delicious food. I never did a fruit tasting in a market and it was something I will never forget. Diego knows the people around the area very well and everybody know Diego.I didn't feel like a tourist but I felt like part of a community that trust each other. I really enjoyed the experience. Diego was very knowledgeable and eager to answer any doubts related to the tour or the city and further such as Machu Picchu stuff. The tour worth it, helped understand some of the history of Lima and the importance of the local town.

Diego is a expert of Peru 🇵🇪! Full of knowledge and passion, he's guidance and explanation takes my tour of Lima to next level! We started with a restaurant named Taverna Santiago Queirolo. We tasted delicious Peru traditional food with over a century of history. Then we visited National Museum of the Archaeology, Anthropology, and History of Peru. Spanish only, but Diego's explanations were very patient and detailed, and let me falling in love with these history and artifacts now! At the end, we visited a local market: Mercado de Pueblo Libre. Full of tasty and juicy fresh FRUITS even I can't remember their names! The experiences of this tour gave me a deeper understanding of Peruvian culture. After our conversation, I found out Diago is not only Lima expert, but also the whole Peru! We already have a plan for my next trip - Machu Picchu. I will see you again soon! Gracias, Diago!

I joined the Pueblo Libre walking tour with Diego and absolutely loved it! It’s a fantastic alternative to the usual downtown Lima tour — much more local and authentic. The district is peaceful, full of history, and feels genuinely Peruvian. Our guide, Diego, was excellent — very friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his neighborhood. He shared a lot of interesting historical context and small details that made the area come alive. The walk offered the perfect mix of history, culture, street art, and daily life. The market visit and fruit tasting were a lovely touch and made the experience feel very local. I left with a much deeper appreciation for Lima beyond the usual tourist areas. Highly recommended if you want to see a different, more genuine side of the city and spend a few hours with a great local guide!
