Hello, I'm Tamas. I set up my tour profile to show off some of the concealed solitaires of Buda side.
I am up to make known the covered details of history beyond the main attractions.
The walks are conducted at a slow speed & I always try to tailor it to your needs & interests. Happen we alter the way to visit additional spots.
My study background is language science & business science in the UK with curiosity about XXth century history.
We may set the course of our conversation to many directions: fine wines, languages, Cold War radio stations, impacts of Communism on civil life, local pubs & cafés in the area.
We had an exciting tour with Tamas. It is recommended to those who want to exprecience an in-depth dimension of the communist period of the country in this time-capsule Memento Park. Tamas shared us his knowledge with a great patience as we had many questions. We arrived just on time to mount on the communist era railway travel in the hills. Very different to the inner city walks, really. I would give 5++ stars to this unconventional tour.
This tour is really unique in its kind. A group of three attendees were guided by Tamas without any time-pressure and with great care. We travelled by his minibus. Public transport travelling would consume the day. The Memento Park is out of town. We received a professionally built flow of information. Tamas knows much more though. We had time to ask questions. Altogether we spent one and a half hour here. The next spot was real excitement travelling by train in the forest. That is somehow a functioning museum of a disappeared era. After a short walk we set back to the car. Tamas put us to inner city within 20 minutes. We were tired but energized! What a different view of the country after this trip! Absolutely recommended to open-minded history-lovers.
Tamas shows hidden treasures of Buda and gives his perspective on the old and modern Budapest. Worth joining his tour!
