My name is Gabriel Pech, journalist by profession, history buff and guide for 4 years in the city of Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. I speak the Mayan language, and also English. For more than 10 years I have been promoting the use and customs of the Mayan culture in the state. It will be an honor to guide you in this beautiful colonial city called Mérida, a piece of paradise on the soil of Mexico. Was an excellent tour. Not many things you can do where you are essentially invited into someone's home to cook a traditional meal. Had a great time. It was a longer day so be prepared for that but it involves some cooking and waiting so thats why. Food was excellent and tasty. Gabriel is very kind and informative about Mayan culture. I would recommend this or any tour by Gabriel for that matter.
Gabriel was a knowledgeable and fun tour guide. It was just my wife and I and his tour was quite enjoyable. Recommended.
