My name is Gabriel Pech, journalist by profession, history buff and guide for 4 years in the city of Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. I speak the Mayan language, and also English. For more than 10 years I have been promoting the use and customs of the Mayan culture in the state. It will be an honor to guide you in this beautiful colonial city called Mérida, a piece of paradise on the soil of Mexico. Jorge was an absolutely amazing guide/guru. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the factual history of Uxmal was unbelievable. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was inspiring and truly cared about what he does and you can tell he loves his work.
