Hello! We are Curioso Free Tour, a company registered as an official tour operator with the Uruguayan Ministry of Tourism. We began offering free tours in Montevideo over eight years ago, with the goal of sharing our knowledge and passion for the history and culture of our beautiful city. Our team of guides are professionals in history and tourism, who have also traveled and lived all over the world. For us, the main purpose of our tours is to passionately share the pillars of Uruguayan culture and to help our visitors fall in love with our city. Welcome to Montevideo!

Great Walk. Guide had a bit of a cold/sore throat.
We often take a free walking tour when visiting a new capital city, and they are usually really good, but this one was exceptional. It was just the 2 of us on the tour, and Martin, our guide was absolutely fantastic. He was super knowledgeable, but also passionate about the city and covered every imaginable topic, from history, through cuisine, music, art, theatre, politics; he also gave topis for where to visit during the rest of our stay in the country and actually across the S American region. Above all, I left feeling inspired, and like we didn't have nearly enough time to explore all the city had to offer. I really couldn't recommend this tour highly enough.
