About Natallia
I'm a private English tutor based in Athens. In my free time, I spend hours outside, running, hiking, or otherwise exploring the city. And what I keep on discovering, month after month, year after year, is that Athens is a treasure trove of all kinds of things, not just ancient ruins. There's the quirky shop signs, the unexpected natural locations, and, of course, the highly diverse yet somehow very coherent architecture.
Athens is the modern, the old, and the ancient all blended into one incredibly layered substance. When I'm out and about, I often find myself asking: What's behind this layer? What hides in here? How did this get here?
I'm not an expert, I'm just curious. And I would love to share my curiosity with you.
What to expect on my tours:
- Exploration over lecturing: We focus on the questions that come up naturally and where they might lead us.
- Genuine discussion: I want this to be a sharing experience. I'm just as eager to hear how you experience the city, what your intuition tells you, and what you want from your visit.
- Local insights: Of course, as a resident, I know a thing or two and am eager to share it.
Athens is one of the most photogenic cities I've ever known. It's a city that keeps on giving. Depending on the time of day, the season, or your mood, it opens up in entirely different ways. And to me, it's always beautiful.
When you look at Athens from above, you naturally feel an urge to zoom in and discover. So I want to take you up to some of my favorite viewpoints so you can see the city from above and maybe fall in love with it the way I once did.
