If you could please share a bit more detail about which part of Lima’s history you would have liked to know more about, we’d love to analyze it and see how we can include it in the tour. We actually try to keep a chronological narrative, which is not easy to do in Lima. Otherwise, I’d start talking about Independence right away at Plaza San Martín, then jump two centuries back to the Cathedral to discuss colonial architecture, and maybe finish the experience talking about Inca Kola, Chifa, or even visiting the Chocolate Museum or one of those pisco tasting shops; you know, the ones that mostly sell souvenirs. That kind of structure might look “complete” for photos, but it breaks the logic of the story. Our goal is different, to connect ideas, not just places. We talk about anthropology, identity, and we try to show you the real Lima in the same time. Our tours are curated experiences, not memorized scripts. We design content, we don’t repeat Wikipedia. I truly invite you to join any other city tour in Lima (whether it’s tip-based or fixed-price). Maybe we should even add this line to our description: “To do this Anti Lima City Tour, it’s recommended to have already done another city tour with a different agency.” However, we won’t do that, because that would sound a bit cocky from us.
