Logan is an amazing tour guide! It was a very interesting and informative tour that shed a light to another side of Downtown Lisbon (and Portugal in general). I recommend everyone to try it. :)
My wife and I very much enjoyed the Black History Tour. Our guide, Logan, was knowledgeable and brought us to places associated with the slave trade including where they arrived as cargo, where they were sold, the neighbourhoods in which black people lived and where they died. Portugal was one of the biggest participants in the Atlantic slave trade. However, the Marinha Museum in Lisbon - which has an excellent section on the Age of Discovery - has only one small panel on the slave trade. A very moving tour on a topic that continues to shape Portuguese society today
