Free walking tours in La Paz, Bolivia

This is a great tour to give you an introduction to La Paz and learn some of the history. Great way to become familiar with the cable cars too, as they are an important mode of transportation to get around La Paz and El Alto. Leo is a great guide who shared his knowledge and provided great recommendations!

Has to be my favourite tour to date - so interesting and Daniel is a top, top tour guide. Would highly recommend!

What an excellent tour! It was such an interesting tour which covered history, cable cars, food and much more. The 4 hours flew and I can honestly say it is one of the best walking tours I have been on; helped by the fact that La Paz is such a cool city with such an amazing way to get around and brilliant food. War eine super schöne Tour mit Leo

Our tour guide Leo was excellent and kept the tour very informative and fun! We toured La Paz and El Alto and took four different cable cars which were the highlight of the tour. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about wonderful La Paz and El Alto!

This tour was brilliant - I love that it included travelling on the Mi Teleférico! Leo our guide collected our cash (10BOB for 4 lines) and sorted the tickets out of us which was much appreciated. Lots of great information and stops for food and drink along the way if you needed anything. Leo’s proficiency in English was fantastic especially because he is self-taught using Duolingo! This is a great tour to do during your first couple days in La Paz!

One of the best walking tours we’ve ever done. Daniel was very knowledgeable and was a great story teller. It was all very interesting and the 3 hours went so quickly. Would definitely recommend. 10/10 tour.

Cristian took us to many interesting places in the central part of La Paz and also explained a lot about Bolivian culture. This made it a very enjoyable and informative tour! Crossing the streets was like a dangerous sport, but he kept us all safe!
