Free Walking Tours through the Alternative Lima

I did my tours with guru walks. This one was rather disappnting. Very little information. Guide was reading them from mobil phone. Istruction to check out square/market 5mn instead of comenting. Bouring standard tour. No fun facts or insights.

It was a lovely tour and even tho everyone than me cancelled, the tour still had happened ;) We visited all the highlights or BARRANCO and Gabriel was very patient with answering my questions. Recommend!

We only had one day in Lima so wanted to experience as much as possible in a short amount of time. Manuel provided us with such an incredible snapshot of the main attractions in the main town and lots of information about the typical foods in the area. We weren't pressured to try anything we didn't want to and he was accomodating to organise alternatives when we wanted to try something different. I feel that we learnt so much about Peruvian life and culture that we would never have captured on our own. I highly recommend Manuel's tours as we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.

It was an easy and convenient way to see Barranco with a friendly guide. I felt safe and enjoyed seeing the street art and getting a feel of the area.

Ich war die einzige die an der Tour teilgenommen hat und Manuel hat sich so viel Zeit genommen und mich durch Lima und das gute Essen geführt. Er hat mich bei allem unterstützt und sich viel mehr Zeit genommen als eingeplant war. Auch für meine Sicherheit hat er sehr gut gesorgt. Danke Manuel 😊

The guru took us to places we didn't visit before. He had the will to introduce us to food we didn't taste before

We had a very enjoyable walking tour through Barranco and learnt a lot about the murals and buildings as well as tips for restaurants. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Interesting if you want infos about colonialisme but not if you want to discover AND try the food of lima (at least with our guide...😅)!

Our guide Álvaro in Barranco was amazing! He was super fun, full of interesting information, and made the whole experience really engaging. Very approachable, easy to talk to, and just an all-around cool person to spend the tour with. Highly recommend!

Nice to take a glimse of Barranco and learn about Lima and Peru art and culture

Great walking tour through Barranco! Guide gave a great overview of the area and history! We saw the main sights and he gave great recommendations for meals in the area! We tried two and were very happy with the quality! We loved the background of the artists that were discussed in the tour and the significance of Barrancos history.

We really liked the tour of old Lima. The guide was kind and was knowledgable . He showed us the Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, and other nice places. We are vegetarian. He helped us find good food. We didn’t have soles, so he paid first, and we gave him dollars later. That was very helpful. The food was tasty. The walk was easy and fun. We enjoyed the tour and recommend it!

We really enjoyed our time, our tour guide also combined some of the key sites of the city that we needed to see as well as getting to try some of the local food!

Le agradezco al Manuel haber preguntado que lugares había visitado del centro histórico para así adaptar el recorrido. Por otro lado, valoro más aún que me dio el recorrido a mi solo, no canceló el tour. Es un detalle que se valora de corazón.
