We had a great time with Xyza. The start was like a personal tour of the museum which was very interesting and gave great insight into Filipino history and culture. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed the tour, a nice mix of past and present. The pace was good, we visited a museum and also walked the small streets with vendors. The end of the tour was at the cathedral. I’m so glad I booked this tour

Xyza was very knowledgeable and very clear in her presentation, she explained what the tour would comprise and also allowed time for trying new treats. Xyza was also very good at making sure people were able to ask questions and get answers.

She was fun, answered all questions enthusiastically and kept it interesting.

Xyza did a great job sharing the history of the Philippines, especially through the Chinatown museum, where you learn about the origins of Filipino arts, craftsmanship, games, liquor, and historic trade routes. As someone born in Manila but raised in Canada, this tour was especially meaningful and helped me better connect with my roots. The tour also covers local fruits, the Divisoria market, and great food spots to try. Since the guided tour is only two hours, I highly recommend spending extra time afterward exploring Chinatown on your own. Overall, it’s a highly recommended tour and a great way to experience the area.

We had a half day before we flew out. Got a great overview of Philippine culture and history- learnt a lot in a short time frame. Xyza was very clear if English is not your first language and you are free to ask many questions. Would highly recommend.

Great historical perspective

Xyza, explained all about Manila as well about Chinayown where we were walking. The history of Manila was detailrd and told in a lively way. Very good start for seeing the city more and talking the learned history with during further exploring the city. Recommand this tour very much!

I'd highly recommend this tour! A lot of interesting historical, but also cultural information about the Philippines and the people. You'll get a glimpse into the life on the island, everyone should learn something about this place besides the beautiful beaches.

Xyza lead our walking tour and my wife and I had a great experience and learnt so much about Philippine history and culture. We were so fortunate to go on this tour on our first full day in Manila and at the start of our 2 week trip.
