I’ve done walking tours in various cities every time we travel and this tour has been one of the best. I felt like we really experienced the authentic Marseille and were able to explore hidden gems, and enjoy a taste of some of it’s best treats. Florent was a great guide with a truly cultivated and intentional itinerary.

We had a group of 4 so it felt like a private tour. It was great. Florent was professional and was in contact with us the day before the tour and the day of the tour. He was easy to locate. He took us to some cool places away from all the tourists that we would never have found on our own. It was a lot of fun and we got to try a lot of different snacks.

Es uno de los mejores tours que he tomado en todas las ciudades que he visitado. Me ha contado la historia de la ciudad de una manera tan interesante, me ha llevado por sitios pequeños que yo sola no descubriría que solo un local sabría, contado cada detalle, cada cosa que probabamos. Lo más importante también es la persona que da el tour. El guía con un corazón tan grande, con tanto amor por la ciudad y por lo que hace me ha enamorado. Es un tour OBLIGATORIO de hacer si estáis en Marsella y yo lo digo de todo corazón y alma abierta. Estoy muy agradecida al guia por haberme hecho este tour tan maravilloso.

Florent was an excellent guide and provided a great overview of Marseille; especially the impact of the various cultures that have come to call Marseille home. We tried some of the local foods as part of the tour which was quite good. There was just my wife and I on the tour and Florent was able to condense quite a bit of information into a two hour tour which was beneficial to us as we were only in Marseille for 2 days.

We were very pleased with Flo and his tour. He was informative and provided sampling experience with each stop introducing the food and background. The shops we went to sample cheese, pastry, sweets, tea and soap were very interesting. He even got us a momento bar of soap allowing us to choose the fragrance. End of tour, he provided a 2-page info on what to do in Marseille and food options. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Florent ci ha accompagnati in un viaggio di sapori con cibo tipico acquistato in piccole attivitá locali,nelle quali siamo tornati anche nei giorni successivi!Molto disponibile anche nel dare informazioni pratiche per visitare la città,e suggerimenti su dove mangiare!É stato un pomeriggio veramente piacevole!

The gastronomic tour of Marseille was great. Even with some shops closed for january 1st, each stop was appreciated, true local shops, non-touristy, little gems. Special shout out to Lina the patisserie and the spices shop. Florent was very informative and responsive to our many questions about Marseille, france in general and especially cuisine and traditions. Highly recommended!

He is very creative to start this food tour flavors of the world. He is knowledgeable, informative with great sense of humor. He is like a local friend for us. If anyone on a tight schedule and can only afford to join one tour, this is a must go tour. We took his advice to dine in 1860 Le Palais and Helin Kebab. They are both fantastic. Florent rock ! He also open up our eyes to see and taste the African Arab part of Marseille which we would never know of.

Really nice and delicious tour. Don't eat too much before the tour! You'll pass lots of nice food spots. Florent is very friendly, enthousiastic and entertaining. Don't expect a lot of historical facts, this is a tour that will help you to orientate on nice places to visit and of course on the culinary part of Marseille!

Die Tour mit Florent war super, er ist auf persönliche Bedürfnisse und Interessen bspw. Fußball oder Musik eingegangen. Man hat sehr viel persönliches über Marseille und Veränderung der letzten Zeit erfahren. Beim nächsten Besuch würde ich gern eine weitere Tour mit ihm machen :)

This summer, I have attended over 50 walking tours. This was definitely one of the best three. Aside from Florent and me, there was only one other person on my tour. This made the tour very personal and informal. Florent says that he doesn’t like the tour to be too full. He walks you around a fairly small areas and shows you a small number of local shops and cafes and restaurants. He talks about the local culture and you taste a variety of foodstuffs. Florent grew up in Marseille but has lived elsewhere in the world. He is a very laidback character, with a good sense of humor. So, don’t be put off by the relative low guru score. I imagine this is caused by the fact that Florent has had to cancel some previous tours due to low sign-up numbers. This tour is a gem and deserves much bigger groups.

Florent showed us the best parts of Marseille, where people live, eat and enjoy themselves. Each neighborhood he took us to was full of energy. We saw shops that had been in business for over a hundred years. The bakery, spice, soap, and hardware stores were memorable. Its great to be shown an area where the guide grew up, so he knew everything!!!
