We planned this tour for our first day in CDMX which was a great idea because this tour showed us how to use the local transit systems — which are expansive, safe, and cheap. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting CDMX!

Belin gave us the best tour ever of our favorite neighborhood, Coyoacán. At the central market she introduced us to Aztec mythology at a market stall so we also got some practice shopping. We sampled indigenous fruits with explanations from women vendors. Belin showed us old Coyoacán, explained the politics of public art, and summarized the history and culture of one of the artistic centers of the city. (She recommended novels, the diary of Freda Kahlo, and other works of literature and history.) She pointed out special sites that would otherwise go unnoticed like the tiny shrine to a boy killed by a crazed general in the 1930s where neighbors keep candles lit. Her delivery was clear, her energy contagious, and her passion for her county, especially its culture, inspiring. 11/10

Tomas was a very knowledgeable guide and gave us tons of interesting information. In my opinion we could’ve spent a little bit more time at the market before we went down again. Still very nice tour!

Gaby was the best….interesting, knowledgeable, a pleasure be with. Not only were the cable cars amazing, we learned how to use the subway, and at the half way point, we had some amazing street food in a far away neighborhood. An excellent introduction to the Mexico City most tourists never see. But highly recommended, no matter how long you visit. Thank you amazing Gaby!

Great tour to get to know local life!

Gaby is a very intelligent young woman who gave professional service and guided us to part of Mexico City that we wouldn't have seen before.

Sam was a very engaging guide. She was very informative explaining Mexico’s transport system and was happy to answer questions about Mexican culture. She took time to speak to each member of the group and accommodated the group’s individual needs. A great tour leaving us with a sense of Mexicans daily lives.

Personable, knowledgeable guide who provided a passionate view of the transportation system of Mexico City. He made navigating the public transit system very easy to understand. We were able to transfer from the subway train to the overhead buckets. The food bought halfway through the walk was an added bonus. Highly recommend this walk, and in particular, Benjamin, as your tour guide.

Sam was extraordinary and she was able to make our small group tour a memorable one. We were able to get pooled for lunch and get some amazing views of the city! Highly recommend

Unfortunately my tour was cancelled because the other people that were signed up said they couldn't find the meeting point and apparently left only a few minutes after the time we were supposed to meet. This left only me and they won't run the tour for just one person. It could have been signposted slightly better yes but I found it fine. Please don't sign up for these tours if you're going to let people down :)

We has a wonderful cable car tour to Iztapalapa with Sam. She was super nice and friendly and explained a lot of details which we would not have known otherwise. We felt very safe during our tour. I would definitely recommend to go to the neighborhoods only with a local guide instead of going by yourself. We had some delicious snacks and drinks before returning back to city centre. My 13 year old son also found the tour very interesting. For him it was a real eye opening experience.

Gaby was great. Because there were only two of us, I learned a lot and it was very engaging experience. Enjoyed that she was curious herself so we can learn more from each other. Awesome views and saw a more local side of the city.
