Essential Free walking tours of Cuenca

Diego met and toured me even though I was the only one signed up. He is relaxed and easygoing so it was a pleasure spending time with him. He made the tour interesting and didn't overload me with history which I never remember. The tour was varied between the historical monuments, cleansing ritual at the market and the tucked away artisan market. I would recommend Diego.

Diego was great showing us around the city and giving recommendations of things to do. We went on a Sunday so not much was open

This was our first Guru walking tour and we didn’t know what to expect. But Diego our guide was awesome! We got a great overview of Cuenca and it’s culture. He even kept my children engaged for 2 hours. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Diego, who not only showed us some beautiful places in the historic center, but also told us many interesting things about Cuenca and Ecuador, from the historical, cultural and social point of view. He was also super nice, spoke well English and answered every question we came up with during the tour. Very recommendable!!

We loved this small and entertaining tour with Diego! There were only the two of us on this Sunday of election in Ecuador, so the tour was extra personalized ;) Diego knows everything about his town and is also a very listening, kind and helpful person. He showed us many diverse places and gave us many advice for the rest of our trip. We recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful city!
