Dalen is personable and very knowledgeable of the area since he grew up here. His English is excellent and he is easy to understand. His stories were funny and entertaining.

Ha organizzato un tour super interessante, ben strutturato e pienissimo di informazioni storiche, artistiche e gastronomiche spiegate con uno stile super personale. Alla fine ci ha lasciato dei consigli su dove mangiare, dove parcheggiare e cosa fare nella penisola di Istria nei prossimi giorni. Excellent English. Plenty of history. Well worth doing.

We were the only 2 person in the group. We are greatful he didn't cancel like 2 others guides did. He's very passionate and loves to communicate his excitement for history. He's a new guide so it's very refreshing to have someone who's not jaded. Always enclined to give advice on things to visit that are not on the tour as well as small experiences such as where to go for liquor tasting for example. We highly recommand the tour if you want quality ; he knows a lot and has many pictures to show to illustrate his speech.

It was a great visit! I'd been in Pula for one week, but I still learned new things and discovered places I hadn't seen before.

Dalen was excellent as he grew up in the area, was very knowledgeable of the history, had references to show us as well as using some personal references to show the changes in the area, a few family photos, he was very friendly and easy to talk to

Very knowledgeable guide. Tour was interesting and you learn a lot about the history of Pula. The walk is easy as you don’t cover much distance and it’s all flat.

Dalen is very knowledgeable and helped me learn to really love Pula, which feels like a real town (not just for tourists) with so much interesting history.

Dalen is a historian so it was perfect to visit a city with so much history with him. Also, he was borne and raised in Pula, so his personal stories give the conversation a special touch. The city is impressive. We enjoyed our stay and this tour gave us a great perspective of its past and present. We definitely recommend the tour.
