Night Tour Dubrovnik

I apologise as Marco was suddenly indisposed so had organised for his colleague to take a tour and I can't remember his name, but he was brilliant (and want to thank him for standing in last minute, it says a lot to be able to count on tours going ahead as planned. He was born and bred in Dubrovnik so was able to tell us all about the city, its history, its tales and sagas but also what life was like for him to grow up in the old town in PEAK tourist times (yes 3 times busier than now - which I found unbelievable) and how for good and bad tourism has moulded the locals experience and how UNESCO was critical in repairs after the war. I stayed in Dubrovnik for 5 days and saw dozens of tour groups each day led by bored tour guides leading a pack of 40-50 bored tourists following them as they droned on about the facts of the city without any interaction. This was the opposite and why I find tip-based tours the best. The guides normally are very enthusiastic, and passionate, wanting to converse with people, often locals, tell more than just dry history, real life and cultural topics and make sure that people have a lovely time on the tour and are open to any questions. This was a prime example of that and it gave me not only a fabulous introduction to Dubrovnik but a flavour and insight into the heart of the city and it's people. Thank you

We had a great experience on this evening tour! Dubrovnik looked even more beautiful during the evening than the daytime, and our tour guide took us to all the best spots. It was far less crowded at 8pm, which made it easier to navigate and easier to engage and hear the guide. We loved the mixture of old and modern history of dubrovnik and would really reccomend this tour!

The original tour group I had booked was cancelled, and I got a message saying I could join another one at 6pm with Ivan. Ivan was very good and told us a lot about the history of the region and the war. I think I just expected to learn more about the actual sites we were visiting. Overall still a good tour though

My tour guide was Rowena. She is very entertaining and knowledgeable about the city. It was very enjoyable joining her tour.

Marco was a fantastic tour guide—kind, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about Dubrovnik. His energy and passion made the tour incredibly enjoyable and informative. This was the second of two walking tours we took, and we couldn't help but wish we had done this one first. It included so many details, tips, and recommendations about Dubrovnik that the first tour left out, which would have been very handy to know earlier in our trip. We would 100% recommend this brilliant tour, thanks a million Marco :)

It was s great tour and I highly recommend it! The guide was knowledgeable and fun. Lots of interesting information about the history of Dubrovnik. It would have been helpful if the guide included more practical tips about the city (things to do outside main tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, must see local spots) specially since many of us were visiting for the first time.

Marco was really professional and charismatic. Lot of history with intresting stories and he pointed out lot of things I would have missed otherwise. I would recommend. Kiitos!

Dubrovnik by night is very special. Romana made it even more special with her tour: very informative with lots of facts from history and nowadays, well structured, perfect english, proffesional and warm approach to all of members of the group. She did an especiallly great job, as she due to heavy storm lasting almost all the tour had to improvise a lot. She kept us safe from the rain in shelter and ecplained everything from there. Thank you Romana for this great experience :-)

We did this tour at the start of our trip to Dubrovnik and this was perfect as Marco provided great tips, recommendations and most importantly history facts about this beautiful and unique place! A great option to start your visit to the Old City in Dubrovnik

First time in the city so we were looking for a tour in the city. We found this one and was excellent!. Marco was very professional and made sure we understood the basics of the history of the city and many different aspects from the costumes and the day to day life from the locals.

Non abbiamo fatto il tour con Marco ma con Luka che lo sostituiva. Molto bravo!! Consiglio a tutti
