Essential Free walking tours of Rome

Great tour. Fundamentals of Roman/Italian history outlined clearly with visuals and sites to assist with the Narration.

The tour was very informative and entertaining. Our guide was incredibly passionate about the city and this was very evident in his tour delivery. His knowledge was extremely expansive and he could easily answer any questions put to him, regardless of topic about the city. The places we stopped were all very relevant and covered a wide time period in Rome's history all the way from its inception to the 21st century. He was very good at pointing out things that you otherwise wouldn't notice or know the actual history behind and had a story for everything. The tour took around 3 hours and I would definitely recommend it. Extremely entertaining and fun. I cannot emphasise this apect of the tour enough.

Fun and informative!

This 3 hour tour visits several of the historical sites in Rome with a lot of information provided at each site.. Harsheet , our guide, is very friendly snd very passionate about Rome. The amount of information he imparts may become a little overwhelming for some.

I was guided to lots of places full of history. The guide (harsjet/happy, i am terrible with names probably got it wrong), he was very passionate and full of knowledge. He included everyone in the tour and did an excellent job of sharing his vast knowledge and enthusiasm. This while making sure we got everywhere safe as a large group in chaotic traffic! I can only recommend to take his tour!

Very informative; clearly a very knowledgeable guide. Entertaining, lively and interactive so kept us all interested. The first 30mins of the tour was in the main delivered from one position. Gave very good intro to foundations of Rome but maybe a little too much upfront might have been good to have got moving earlier whilst everyone was fresh. Guide was mindful of time and gave clear Instructions / directions / timings to the group. Comms beforehand from GuruWalks were very good. Highly recommend tour

Lovely energy, and amazing insights

We really enjoyed thevtour. Harsh was very informative he knew so much about Rome, lots of facts and went up and above what we expected. He made sure at all times everyone in the group was included and nothing was too much trouble. His knowledge of the area was second to none and we felt we learnt so much. Harsh conducted the tour with so much energy and enthusiasm, sharing little nuggets of information and pointing out details I would have easily missed on my own. His explanation was top-notch, structured beautifully through the different eras of Rome, which made the whole experience engaging and easy to follow. Throughout the walk, Harsh made sure everyone stayed together and understood the stories he was telling. It was both informative and enjoyable — highly recommended!
