We went on this walking tour the day before the ticketed visit to the Colosseum. It was a great option to learn something about the place, because later visiting we already knew many interesting facts. We ended up in a small group (5 people) which made it not so much fun - not many questions from the participants, enriching the experience. But I guess that’s not the tour guide fault, so overall good.

Eugene is a charismatic, engaging tour guide, and his insight to the Colosseum and Roman Forum was amazing. He used a lot of pictorial guides to explain what the sites looked like a long time ago as well. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.

Eugene was not only knowledgeable but also very enthusiastic about sharing the stories related to the amphitheater and surroundings. It left us eager to explore more and refresh our history knowledge. I highly recommend it and would do it again!
