Adriano was initially supposed to be our guide, but we ended up being friends! His tour of the center was great (in great English), funny, interesting and sincere. After the tour he gave a lot of advices for unusual places to go during the day and we met again with him at sunset to chill together. He is the sweetest and best guy met in Brasil! His energy and good heart are impressive, he let us enter real Salvador vibes and culture and we ended up feeling close to locals. I really recommend a tour with him!

Adriano Is One of the best GuruWakk guide ever. Is english Is perfect and he was so full of Energy and interesting anecdotes that made me whish I had the opportunity to stay more in Salvador. If you are interested in knowing more about the culture I absolutely reccommend a tour With him.

This was a fantastic introduction to Salvador with Maria. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and showed us key landmarks of the Centro Historico. We learned a lot about Brazilian people, history, music, festivals, culture and religion. Highly recommended. Great thing to do on your first day in Salvador!

Excellent! Maria was very engaging and informative. I especially appreciated her attention to issues of race and Afro Brazilian culture and spirituality which are so essential to Brazilian culture but often times treated superficially. She also touched on the challenge of gentrification and displacement as new investment has poured into Salvador. And she actively invited questions. Top notch professional.

Adriano was incredibly kind and very entertaining throughout the tour. After a first part of the tour which was very informative, we had the chance to stroll around the streets of pelourinho with him in a more informal way, which was very fun. We even stopped to eat some food during a Candomblé celebration!

Our tour guide Adriano was incredible!! He was kind, charismatic, helpful, attentive. He went to everybody after the tour and answered everyone’s questions thoroughly. As we went through the tour, he took the time to speak to everyone. Truly a kind soul. If there’s a company that I would recommend to do a tour of Salvador, it’s To Know Salvador!!

The guide left 5 minutes earlier (or never showed up) and then sent another guide, Eduardo, to start the tour one hour later. Apart from this big issue, Eduardo gave us a good tour with a massive quantity of information
