I took the tour of Salvador's Historic Center and the experience was incredible! The guide is very confident in what he says, super kind, cordial, and attentive. He explains everything clearly and transmits great energy throughout the tour. I highly recommend it!

Si vede che Eduardo conosce molto bene la storia di Salvador ed è fiero della sua città e dei cittadini locali, ma il tour è stato fin troppo serio e a tratti, mi spiace molto dirlo, abbastanza noioso. Un po' più di brio e di coinvolgimento renderebbero il tour molto più piacevole! In più, non mi è piaciuta affatto la parte finale durante la quale ci ha portato in diversi mercatini e cooperative di alcuni suoi amici e conoscenti perché mi sembrava un modo per spingerci ad acquistare prodotti da loro. Non ci ha spinti in nessun modo a farlo, certo, ma avrei preferito vedere qualche usanza più tipica o qualche curiosità in più piuttosto che bancarelle di souvenir che potevo vedere anche da sola.

Interesting and engaging tour - Adriano was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We chose the shorter tour in case it was very hot but would have happily spent longer.

Adriano is a great tour guide! He remembers so much historic information and how it impacts life now in the Pelourinho quarter. Very glad we did this on our first day here. He gave so many good hidden tips that we could use after the tour too!

We really enjoyed our walk with Adriano. He was very friendly and really seated to enjoy his job. We learned a lot and Adriano also gave us tips regarding what to do in Salvador and where to go and not to go after a certain time in the evening. We do recommend everyone to go on a walking tour with Adriano here in Pelourinho.

Adriano was a fantastic, knowledgable and enthusiastic guide. Unfortunately we had pretty bad rain on the scheduled day, but we went ahead with the tour anyway (he did ask if I wanted to move it, but I wouldn't have had another chance) and he even brought me an umbrella! He was full of facts about the history of Pelourinho, but also the best places and spots to visit across Salvador. Adriano even stayed in touch to give me tips for the rest of my visit. Highly recommend!!
