John was great!! If you can take a tour with him take it. There were only two people in our tour and he answered all our questions. Always explained everything with a big smile. He clearly loves Newcastle. He gave me more time at the end of the tour to show me where lit and Phil is and knowing that I like football left me in a nice bar to watch a match. Thank you John.

A great way to see Newcastle in just 2 hours!

I understand that payment is expected and we always pay accordingly, but never have I been told that it will be £20 per head at the beginning of the tour unless we feel it's not worth that much. It left a bad taste and we felt shamed into paying said amount. Will seriously have to consider using guru walks again

My partner and I had a wonterful city tour with John. He did a great job showing us the most interesting parts of Newcastle and explaining the historical background of the city. We decided to do a GuruWalk tour while visiting Newcastle upon Tyne and were lucky enough to have John as our guide. He is obviously very knowledgeable about Newcastle and passionate about his home city. The information he shared was both interesting and entertaining pointing out and sharing history of buildings and landmarks that we would have just walked past not noticing. We definitely came away with a better understanding and appreciation of Newcastle. Thanks and well done John.
