As someone who has never visited Sheffield as a tourist I felt Kevin was very good at relating the history of the city from his perspective as a retired policeman. He showed us a lot of interesting buildings and sites each one with it's own story Overall a very informative and interesting tour

Really good tour with Kevin / lots of information on the gangs of Sheffield with plenty of personal anecdotes thrown in. We very much enjoyed this informative tour and would all recommend it.

Very enjoyable tour with Kevin who was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout. Had a really interesting and informative walk around, despite awful weather. His stories were very enlightening. Would wholeheartedly recommend Kevin's walking tour.

Law and order wouldn't be my normal focus on a tour, but it's always good to do something different and Kevin's first-hand knowledge and interest made this an interesting and unusual tour.

Kevin is very friendly, informative and approachable. The tour is mainly about crime and the gang wars but with other interesting information given along the way. It's a leisurely walk not rushed and very worth while. I would definitely recommend!

It was easy to follow all the information shared by Kevin during the tour, some of which included some curiosities about the criminal history of Sheffield apart from the essential tourist attractions!

Kevin was a brilliant tour guide, so knowledgeable and had some great personal stories to add to the mix. A great couple of hours learning about history and gang wars, which I knew nothing about. Was a great way to get a different perspective of the city. Highly recommend a tour with Kevin ☺️

I guess every city has its dark periods....it was interesting to hear about the criminals and how human nature works....with kevin having been a police officer he would have first hand experience about law breakers which would prove to be important in relating to Sheffield's dark history!.... would definitely recommend this tour

not your average walking tour! very informative and knowledgable about historic gangs and police incidents in Sheffield. The tales were interwoven and told very well. The scenes were set well and were interesting. Kevins passion for his previous job and his city were evident. would recommend for anyone with an interest in historic crime. thank you

Amazing, we have lived here for so long yet Kevin showed us things that we didn't even know were there, we probably walked past 100 times without realising. His knowledge of Sheffield was outstanding and he was able to impart this in an easy to understand, informative way. The size of the group (5) made it informal and enabled people to ask questions en route, We would recommend this trip.

Kevin's tour was very well delivered, with great confidence and a real passion for his home City, I would recommend anyone that likes to get below the veneer of an unknown City takes this tour. Kevin made us feel welcome and we really enjoyed his telling of a great story.

Nice tour if you have a particular interest in Sheffield’s broad general history and gangland scene. No real mention of Sheffield’s steel history, but in fairness, there are other tours that cover that part of the City’s history.
