London-bred Spaniard and all time lover of the beautiful city of Madrid, came to rediscover this city a few years ago and my inquisitive search for knowledge on the city and passion for history helped me understand Madrid better, now a proud Madrileño, I enjoy very much showing people around and offering in-depth information about the most important sights and telling the little less-known stories that often-time made up the real fabric of a city's character.

About the tour

An approximately 2.5 hour beautiful walk to appreciate the evolution of Madrid through different epochs. Starting at the West end of La Gran Via, we will walk along to the other End appreciating the beautiful early-20th century buildings to end up in iconical Plaza de España an its iconic Art Deco skyscrapers.

From Plaza de España we walk down to the impressive Egyptian Temple of Debod, a rare sight in an European city. From there we will come back West stopping by the magnificent Royal Palace and then visit Madrid's heart, Puerta del Sol and then come back to our starting point through famous Golden Mile with its Prado and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museums

What's the price?

A guruwalk is a pay-what-you want walking tour, which means, it's completely free to book and join the group, but the 'guru' expects to be rewarded once the tour ends. Some people give 5, some people give 50, you choose the price.

Reservations in advance are mandatory because if the 'guru' doesn't see any bookings one day, she will not show up at the meeting point. Or if she has too many 'walkers' that day, won't allow you to join without the reservation. Booking is completely free, fast and easy. Book your guruwalk now!
