Meet the urban graffiti art gallery in the commune 13

Come and meet COMMUNA 13. An example of transformation; Thanks to art, culture, music, sports and urban artists, and the project to mobilize electric escalators, they have turned a neighborhood affected by a war into a global example of innovation, to be one of the best tourist sites of the city of medellin, for which today it is called the largest outdoor urban art gallery in Colombia. My name is Juan Carlos and I have participated in this change from my experience as an Architect, since I worked in the construction and execution of the Electric Escalators mobility project. and that today it is not only a pleasure to be part of this community, but also to be able to continue generating social contributions for the community. In this tour we will enjoy the history of a war that frightened the community 13 but the explanation of its urban arts that have helped to save and give a new identity and sense of belonging of the same inhabitants of the sector; also we will know different art galleries of local graffiti artists and a variety of breakdance and hiphop music artistic shows, viewpoints of the city of medellin and of the commune 13 and also be able to appreciate its great gastronomic variety.
