I am a student of Geography and History and a Spanish teacher. I am a history guide in Madrid and in Saint Petersburg (Russia). I love my city and its history and I want to pass this passion on future travelers who are going to visit Madrid.
We will visit the city center. The places with more history in Madrid and discover together their secrets: revolutions, conspiracies, attacks against the kings, the oldest stores and restaurants and their protagonists and much more.
In the middle of the tour we will take a break to try some typical tapas in places frequented by locals.
We start our tour in Isabel II square where we will discover many secrets related with the old Christians walls, the Royal Theatre and much more. We will visit Oriente square and the Royal Palace (outside), Almudena cathedral, Mayor street and its bars and Mayor square. We will finish in the most important square in Madrid: La Puerta del Sol. One of the places with more history in Madrid where key events have taken place for the future of Madrid.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
