About the tour

Ever wondered how NYC came to be the greatest city in the world? Or how the tiny island of Manhattan grew to be one of the world’s most thriving metropolises? Or why New York stands out from all other American cities and why people from all over the world specifically flock to New York?

This 2.5 hour walking tour of the historic downtown and Financial District of Manhattan goes deep into the 400-year history of NYC, covering detailed stories explaining the European settlement during its earliest days as a tiny Dutch trading post (New Amsterdam), through the American Revolution, up until the New York as we know it today!

Taking a dive back into the days and lives of George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, JP Morgan and the thousands of immigrants from all over the world, this tour will give you a full, fun and detailed context of the city to help you fully understand and appreciate all that New York was, is and can be.

The stops include: Wall St, The New York Stock Exchange, “The Charging Bull” and “Fearless Girl” statues, Battery Park (with views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island), The World Trade Center, 9/11 Memorials and more!
