I have been a certified Tour Guide in Casablanca since 2017, and an Airbnb Superhost. After the Arab Spring ignited in 2011 to multiple North African countries, Libya was one of the effected countries with that Virus called Revolution. For this reasons, I was urged to travel to a peaceful place where there are no gunshots. So I decided to travel to Morocco which was a radical investment into my soul, and an injection of love with tourism and adventure for me because it was the 1st time I experience traveling. While I am here I admired the country and decided to settle down in Morocco to have plenty of time to discover its endless beauty, then I realized that this charm should be shared with visitors, and that is exactly why I am here ;) Sharing my expertise of the country and the culture with you :)

About the tour

Please confirm your attendance by texting me on Whatsapp because for some reason I do not get booking notification or email so I do not know that you are attending until you confirm on Whatsapp

We start off our tour with a traditional local breakfast in a very local spot. "contact me to know about the food".

Our walking tour starts together at Mohammed V Square "Pigeons Square",  that forms the central hub of Casablanca’s new town, and is home to some of the most striking architecture in the city.

Along with the neighboring United Nations Square, it’s a large palm-tree lined public square that represents the place where the old and new town meet.

Then we visit a small African market "interesting for 1st time Africa visitors".

Followed by a relaxed walk through the Medina (old town) of Casablanca, you will dip into the daily life of the locals and travel back in time while rambling through the narrow streets. Discover some influences from the French colonial era after visiting the bustling marketplace where clothes, spices and traditional leather goods are offered by handcrafts workers.

We will also get to visit a real must-see monument “Hassan II Mosque” with its impressive world’s tallest minaret. Admire the building from the outside and listen to the incredible facts about its dimension. The mosque is known by its highly decorated interior.

(Optional) Finally, we’ll get to know La Corniche, at the magnificent seafront as we may enjoy a walk or simply relax in a cafe with a view of the Atlantic Ocean that offers a less traditional and more holiday escape-side of Morocco. You can dip into the water if you feel daring.

Last, we might finalize our tour with a delicious Moroccan lunch.

I totally enjoyed Tarik's tour. He's very friendly and accommodating. It kicked off with a typical morrocan breakfast that kept us going the entire tour. Then we went to have a typical Moroccan lunch as well. Well done Tarik!
