JC is brilliant. You learn so much about the history of Valencia, its places, its people and it's food, all in a fun way such that the memory of it stays with you for a long time. There were kids on the tour and he shared some fun facts and activities with them as well.

JC was extremely well versed in the history of Valencia and told stories beautifully. Our kids found it a big long and we didn’t move much which was tough in the chilly rain (unlucky timing!) We learned so much and we all loved learning from our charismatic guide who was full of passion and enthusiasm for Valencia life and history!

A highly recommended tour!

JC is not a tour guide. he's a stand up comedian who also happens to be extremely knowledgeable about the history, culture and main local spots in Valencia. having been in dozens of free tours over 10 years, I can safely say he's the best one I've had: we've learned about the spanish civil war, the spanish succession, the rise and fall of the city, and how great and refreshing is an orchata (my fav drink in valencia!). he's also hilarious and made me excited about history, which is something remarkable since I usually despise dates and wars. I recommend him thoroughly for a tour of Valencia.

We had a great tour with Ulises! It was easy to book and the guide was fantastic. We arrived a little late but were easily able to find the guide when they sent us their live pinned location. They were very informative and told some great stories. We've been on a number of walking tours but this was one of only a few that have kept our kids (3 of them 8-12yo) engaged! Really excellant you the Guru Doe was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. We left a little early but this had nothing to do with Doe but my friends recent operation. We only left 10 minutes early.
