On this free walking tour you will get to see the best places in Rome, ta have an amazing trip with your family and friends. Choosing where to go, especially on a trip, might no be an easy task, therefore, we have short-listed some of the top places in Rome that you will be able to visit with me!
On you arrival we will start our tour with:
1. Colosseum
The Colosseum or Coliseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheater, is an oval amphitheater in the centre of the city of Rome. Built of travertine limestone, tuff, and brick-faced concrete, it was the largest amphitheater ever built at the time and held 50,000 spectators
2.Vatican City
Vatican City, a city-state surrounded by Rome. It is the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church. It's home to the Pope and a trove of iconic art and architecture. Its Vatican Museums house ancient Roman sculptures such as the famed “Laocoön and His Sons”, as well as Renaissance frescoes in the Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel, famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling.
3.Spanish Steps
The Spanish Steps are a set of steps in Rome. Climbing a steep slope between the Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Trinità dei Monti.
4. Last but not least, Piazza del Popolo
Piazza del Popolo is a large urban square in Rome. The name in modern Italian literally means "People's Square", but historically it derives from the poplars after which the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, in the northeast corner of the piazza, takes its name.
